A fun filled weekend!!

We attempted to go to the St. Patty's Day parade downtown on Saturday.. however, it kind of turned out to be an awful day:( We got down there and walked to the parade.. there were so many people that we couldn't even get up to where it was so we ended up not seeing any of it! Then we decided to have lunch while we were there.. we went to Houlahans..where bad went to REALLY bad.. we started out with a couple of green beers.. which were flat so we had to send them back.. then Ava got her corn dog and the middle was completely frozen so we sent that back.. then the 2nd corn dog got was cold in the middle so we sent that back.. We all got corn beef and it was terrible.. so nothing really went our way.. but we still got to be outside and enjoy the city (a little)..

Sunday we headed out to the dog park.. Bella has been couped up all winter and we thought it would be good for her to run and run and run... however, our trip was cut short by a little altercation with another dog.. Sadly that might have been our last time to the park:( We just can't risk her getting into a fight.
Monday I went to meet up with two friends from high school Diana and Jeanine (yes..thanks to facebook:)!) Diana has 2 boys almost exactly the same age as Ava and Lila.. and Jeanine has 4 kids (I don't know how she does it!)..so the kids had so much fun playing together and the weather was perfect so they got to be outside!!

Starting with Lila in the stroller 7 1/2 months, Ava 2 years, Bennett 2 years, Avery 4 years, Gabbi 5 years, Grady 18 months and Joel 3 years.. WOW!!!

Ava continues to love love love her books.. she just CAN NOT get enough of them.. that is what she asks for the minute she gets up in the morning and the last thing she asks for before bed!! She also loves to be outside.. all she wants to do is run around and play outside.. (just like her daddy)..well I guess Drew doesn't run around and play..but he also loves to be outside!
and Miss Lila.. she is starting to try and get on all fours.. she hasn't done it yet.. but I am sure in no time she will.. her two top teeth next to the fronts have popped through..(she has had a hard time with it).. but is going to have fangs just like Ava!!!
