Well..we attempted to do the March of Dimes walk on Sunday..things were looking pretty good..however, about 1 1/2 miles in the pouring rain started..about 2 miles in it was like a monsoon..so we decided to turn around and walk/run back. Hopefully better weather next year!!! Thank you to everyone who donated!! We ended up raising $1165!!!
A little update on our girls...
Miss Lila.. gosh it is amazing how different two kids can be.. she is such an easy going, go with flow baby.. she is so calm cool and collected.. She will be 9 months next week which is just so crazy for me to think about!! She has totally no interest in her bottles anymore.. I am lucky if I can fit 3 into the day.. usually she ends up only taking her morning and night..but I asked the Dr. and they said not to be concerned some kids just wean themselves early.. She LOVES food.. sometimes she eats for hours!!! I am giving her more and more table food which she seems to be doing great with!! I have FINALLY gotten her on some what of a schedule.. (which I do a lot better with) it only took almost 9 months!! She is really napping so much better and the last couple days she has taken a 2 HOUR..yes.. 2 hour nap in the afternoon and so does Ava so I finally get some alone time!!! This is definitely one of my favorite ages.. she is just such a pleasure to be around:)!!!!
Miss Ava B... where do I begin???? She has just changed so much since the beginning of this year.. her speech has gotten so much better and she is now started on her sentences..She know all of her friends names and even keeps each family together... we are learning how to count to 5 and starting on her abc's..we are also going to start potty training on May 1st ( I am really dreading it!!!) She still has MAJOR pooping problems which I am trying everything to make better.. last time we were at the Dr. they said to give her myralax..which I am really trying to avoid.. I just don't want her taking some medicine so young.. so she is eating a lot of raisins, prunes and grapes.. Ava just LOVES her little sister... LOVES her.. she wants to be with her all day..she gets soo excited to go get her up in the morning and gives her lots of kisses before bed.. I can only hope this last throughout their childhoods!! One can hope right???? She is still going nonstop and doesn't even break for a minute.. I don't know how she does it.. just like her daddy though!!!She is just such a special girl and we loves her to pieces!!!

I can't believe you were out in the rain storm! Yuck!
As for the Miralax, we were giving that to Avery when she was like 4 months old. We were assured by many people that it was completely safe and it really helped her a lot. It is stressful when your kid won't poop! So it helped us all feel better. Anyway, I would say give it a try and see if you notice it helping. Avery doesn't have to take it anymore so Ava might only need it for a short while too? Just my thoughts!
Girls are looking adorable - and totally different!
The rain was a damper on our party..but we'll have to get the girls together this summer for a BBQ!!!! Great job raising so much money! Thanks again for making the trek out to St. Charles to walk together!
