Getting Back to Normal???

So.. I can't begin to say how CRAZY our life has been the last month.. For those of you that don't know.. my brother-in-law was in critical condition for 2 weeks, so our days were spent taking care of their kids and going back and forth to Mercy Hospital which is on the south side of the city.. this included LOTS and LOTS of traffic.. I mean hours and hours.. However, the good news is he was transferred to a rehab facility last night so hopefully he will have a speedy recovery!!!!! Truly Amazing what he has been through..but we are excited to get him back to normal!

During this time I took my 10 mo. old niece Danica home with me to take care of for 10 days. She is the cutest thing... but it was an adjustment getting used to bottles/naps and lots of meals.. The girls didn't take it to good, considering their Mommy now had a new baby to take care of. But we did make it through and some how found a schedule to follow. (I am a HUGE schedule person). Drew was in NY for a lot of my time with Danica.. so it left me with the three kids.. then we dropped Danica off last Friday and I left the next morning for a Spa weekend with my Mom, Sister-in-law Talya, Aunt Diane and my cousin Lisa.. my sister Tracy was supposed to go but stayed with Dean. We TOTALLY missed her. We went to Saratoga Springs NY, and stayed in a bed and breakfast.. it was a WONDERFUL weekend.. we ate So much amazing food, and I had a mineral bath and hot stone massage at the spa. IT was INCREDIBLE!!!! Massages will now be a part of my life:) I got home late Monday night, and Poppa Holtz was here to build the girls a playhouse:)!!! It is AWESOME:)!!! We are going to get it painted tomorrow so I will post pics as soon as it is done. I am so excited for the girls to have it. Drew has been home late every night this week due to meetings at work.. So needless to say our life has has been very crazy lately.. we are excited to get back to our "normal" schedule.

Ava had her second week of school.. and she LOVES IT!!!!!!!! Can't wait to go and lets me know everything she does when we pick her up. She is so excited to see Lila and her Mommy when she is done, and might be my favorite part of the day:) She goes Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9:15 to 11:30. I am so happy for her:)!!
